Washington Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr. recently gave his thoughts on Jordan Poole’s offensive play so far (averaging 16.4 PPG/3.4 APG/41.7% FG/30.0% 3-PT/76.9% FT through nine games).

(via Washington Wizards):

Reporter: “How do you think Jordan is still acclimating to a new role as a primary focus for defenses?”

Unseld: “I think it’ll take some time. He’s seeing different coverages. Teams are obviously keying in on him, but he’s trying to play the right way. He’s making the right read. He’s moving the ball. He’s trying to make team plays. So I think it’ll click, his shot will start falling, and I think once that happens, the dam will break.”
